NAFDAC deletes press statement on the closure of Chocolat Royale from its website
Popular restaurant Chocoat Royale is back in business. That’s no news! Okay!
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) found nothing wrong with the foods it confiscated from the restaurant, an insider told Newsroom.
However, NAFDAC has refused to officially publish its findings, meaning that it is breaking its own promise to do so.
Not only that. NAFDAC has deleted the press release on the closure of the restaurant from its website.
It initially published the link here:
http://www.nafdac.gov.ng/component/k2/item/273-nafdac-seals-chocolate-royale
The link is now a dead end.
Also, NAFDAC never made a press statement on the reopening of the restaurant.
In fact, if you search for “chocolat royale” on NAFDAC’s website, you’ll find this error page…
