Mother and kids, 2 others crushed to death as brother “overloads” motorcycle

The crash reportedly occurred along Nkwoedo market in Orifite, Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra state on the night of Friday, April 21.
The driver of a Lexus jeep heading towards Oraifite lost control, veered off his lane and crashed into a motorcycle being driven by one Chinedu Nkemelu a.k.a Ikponka.
The motorcycle driver, his brother’s wife and her two children, were killed in the crash.
FRSC official, Sunday Ajayi, blamed the tragedy on overloading, a violation of traffic rules.
He said Nkemelu shouldn’t have been carrying so many people on the motorcycle.
