Maradona: I lost a friend, the greatest of all time – Daniel Amokachi

Reacting to Maradona’s death, the former Super Eagles player and ex-assistant manager, Daniel Amokachi tweeted: “Sad day. Today I lost a friend, the greatest of all time Diego Armando Maradona.”

“Rest on brother, you are in a better place,” said Amokachi who was part of the Super Eagles team that played against Maradona’s Argentina in the 1994 World Cup.
