Management will stand by FRSC staff performing their legitimate duties-Oyeyemi

The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dr Boboye Oyeyemi has assured staff of the Corps that Management will not abandon them in the hands of violent and recalcitrant traffic offenders who set out to humiliate them in the course of performing their official duties.

Oyeyemi gave the assurance while welcoming Management and Commanding Officers to the half year strategy session organised by the National Headquarters of the Corps to review the operational activities of the Corps in the last seven months.

According to Oyeyemi, report of cases of violent attacks against patrol teams across the country has become worrisome, saying however that Management is determined to taking appropriate measures to address the challenges and guide against such occurrences in the future. While giving instances of the various acts of violence perpetrated against patrol teams in places like Abia, Ebonyi, Dutse in Jigawa state and FCT, he noted that appropriate measures were being taken at the highest levels to address the issues.
