Man stabs self in head and neck at Heathrow
A man, Thursday, stabbed himself repeatedly with a knife much to the dismay of passengers at London’s Heathrow Airport.
“He tore open his shirt and turned the blade on himself outside Fortnum & Mason,” witnesses say.
Reports are that the casually dressed man picked up his weapon, a fish-knife, from a seafood restaurant after passing through passport, customs and security.
“He was stabbing himself really hard in the neck and chest, he looked scared and was muttering something. I don’t know what he was saying,” a passenger said.
Security guards soon surrounded the man who appeared to be from the Middle-east and have taken him to hospital with injuries which, reports say, are not life-threatening.
It’s been confirmed that no other passengers were injured in the incident..
