Man sentenced to 45 Years imprisonment after cutting off ex-girlfriend’s nipples

46-year-old Tony Deval Ledbetter, who allegedly mutilated his ex-girlfriend’s breast, has been sentenced to the maximum sentence possible.

After pleading guilty to three counts of aggravated assault for gagging and strangling his ex-girlfriend, complimenting his disturbing assault with the utilization of scissors to cut her nipples, Ledbetter got 45 years in prison.

During her Tuesday’s court appearance in Lincoln County, the victim lamented how the injuries she sustained from the attack, have affected her mentally and physically.

“He told me he was a nice guy,” she said. “Nice guys don’t do this.”

Ledbetter, again, admitted his guilt, with claims that he doesn’t believe in violence.

“I apologize to the court and to (the victim),” Ledbetter said in a statement of apology. “I don’t believe in violence. … It’s hard to fathom this happened. It will never happen again. I don’t seek violence.”

It would be recalled that Ledbetter was in October 2016 apprehended after he assaulted the woman carrying his child.

According to the police report, the duo had engaged each other in a serious argument when Ledbetter punched his girlfriend, pummeling her head on the ground. The police added that Ledbetter additionally attempted to stop her from screaming, by stuffing a blanket in her mouth.

After knocking out his girlfriend, Ledbetter grabbed a pair of scissors and cut off one of her nipples.
