Man City have been on the lookout for a right-footed left winger seeing as big money signing, Jack Grealish, has failed to live up to his hype and new recruit, Jeremy Doku, is still getting a grip of the league.
Man City’s previous target, Pedro Neto of Wolves has since agreed a deal with Chelsea FC, leaving the Champions in search of other alternatives.
The latest development will come as a boost to Liverpool gaffer, Arne Slot, who will look to have all the available firepower at his disposal as the Reds look to topple Pep Guardiola’s side this season.
Liverpool kick off their Premier League season this weekend with an away trip to newly-promoted Ipswich Town.
