Man, 60, arrested for allegedly raping and murdering 36-year-old virgin
A vigilante group in Abia State have nabbed a 60-year-old man, Emma Ukwa for allegedly raping a 36-year-old woman identified as Josephine, also killing her in the process.
Ukwa was reportedly arrested by the vigilante group at Amaekpu Ohafia, in the Ohafia Local Government Area of the state for committing the crime in a farm on Friday.
PUNCH gathers that Ukwa mocked the woman for being a virgin after he allegedly defiled her.
“Ukwa confessed to have developed a lust for the lady after seeing her half naked while taking her bath in the village stream,” a source told the publication.
“Ukwa said he only wanted to have sex with the victim, but later killed her when she insisted that she would expose him.”

The culprit was later exposed after a friend of the deceased went to the farm to find out what had kept her back for a long time, but found her lifeless body there.
“The friend had met Ukwa on the way before seeing the victim’s corpse. She came back and raised the alarm, prompting the Amaekpu Ohafia Vigilance Group to arrest Ukwa,” the source added.
Mr. Godwin Anya, Chairman of the vigilance group, said the suspect has been handed over to the police.
