Man, 20, escapes lynching after “raping deaf and dumb virgin” in Ogun
Police in Ogun say they have arrested one Nurudeen Akintoye for raping a deaf and dumb teenager.
Police say Akintoye, 20, raped his victim in a bush at about 9.45p.m on June 7, 2017.
The victim’s parents claim she was a virgin before the incident. She was said to have bled profusely after being penetrated by the suspect.
Akintoye was only rescued from being lynched by an angry mob in the area, police confirmed.
The victim was taken to General Hospital in Owode Egba for immediate medical attention.
Police boss in Ogun state, Ahmed Iliyasu say investigations have begun into the case.
