September 4, 2017
Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, was in good spirits after watching Nigeria play out a 1-1 draw with Cameroon in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match played in Yaounde on Monday night.
The result pushed the Super Eagles one win closer from sealing a place at Russia 2018, leaving Buhari to call on Nigerians to support the Super Eagles.
“Let’s celebrate our Super Eagles, holding Cameroon to a draw in Yaoundé,” he wrote along with a photo of himself watching the match.
He added, “The march to #Russia2018 continues, and they have all our support!”
