Lagos: Uber driver allegedly slaps lady, calls her father “an animal” for complaining about his services
A lady has recounted her unpleasant experience at the hands of a Uber driver, identified as Olatunbosun, on Wednesday morning in Lagos.
The lady, identified as Motosinoluwa, alleged that the driver slapped her when she complained about his unsatisfying services.
“I read a story about a particular Taxify driver that beat up a lady just few days ago and I was alarmed not knowing it will be my turn pretty soon,” she shared on her social media.
She said the driver “called my father an animal for complaining about how he drives and the amount of inconvenience it was to me and he said “do you think I am an animal like your father.”
According to her, the exchange got heated and the driver refused to continue with the journey.
“He stopped my ride and asked me to pay him and I gave him part of fare and next thing he got down and pulled my hair, then boom slap and a lot more,” she further narrated.
“I ended up with a numb index finger,” she said.
Efforts to reach the driver has so far proved unsuccessful.
