Lagos sex worker drags customer over N200 balance
A sex worker identified as Blessing Isi, has been allegedly brutalised by one of her customers, Kelvin Duru who’s a trader at the popular Ladipo market.
Blessing was allegedly assaulted and left with injuries by Kelvin at a popular brothel located at Mosalashi Street off Lafenwa Road in Ejigbo, Lagos.
According to a report, Kelvin initially engaged Blessing sexually for an agreement fee of N500. He would later promise her an extra N200 during the act.
Their disagreement started after Kelvin refused to pay Blessing the extra N200 as agreed.
Blessing, 32, said she bore the whole discomfort until he was satisfied and gave her N1000 asking for change.
All hell was let loose when she handed a sum of N300 to Kelvin but he wanted N500 as balance. A fight broke out and he allegedly injured her.
Blessing has claimed that Kelvin stole her N76,000 which she kept in her room where the fight took place. Kelvin denied that he stole any money from her bag.
Kelvin was charged to court for assault. He pleaded not guilty.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni granted Kelvin bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
