Lagos police arrest 2 with 7 bags of cannabis

Two suspected indian hemp merchants have been arrested by the police in Lagos.
Police say seven bags of cannabis were recovered from them.
The use of cannabis, in any form, remains illegal in Nigeria.
The use of cannabis was, on Tuesday, legalised in South Africa.
The Nigerian law prescribes a jail term of not less than four years for anyone who knowingly has any Indian hemp in his possession, while anyone caught trying to export the banned substance is liable to 21 years imprisonment.
