Kwara United players, team doctor rescue Kaduna auto crash victims
Kwara United FC of Ilorin were returning home after suffering a narrow loss to Giwa FC.

Players and officials of Kwara United FC of Ilorin on Monday on their way home after match day 20 NPFL game with Giwa FC of Jos rescued some accident victims.
The team arrived at the scene just when the incident occurred some few kilometres away from Jere, a town in Kaduna state with the club’s doctor Umar Yahaya attending to the victims.
While Yahaya was attending to the victims who are mainly young girls the players were controlling traffic while others helped carry the victims inside a vehicle conveying them to a nearby hospital for treatment.
While other players could not come down to assist they were holding their heads with sad expression all over their faces.
Kwara United lost 1-0 to Giwa FC in Jos on Sunday to Super Eagles Helong Charles strike just four minutes into the second half to pick the maximum three points at stake.
The Ilorin based team will lock horns with Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt in a Match Day 21 NPFL game in Ilorin on Wednesday.
