KOGI: Mob beats man to death for “stabbing woman who poured water on him”
A man identified as Ibrahim Abdulmalik was reportedly killed by a mob in Kogi on Thursday for allegedly stabbing a lady to death.
Ibrahim was said to have stabbed the lady, identified as Avoshi Seberu, for pouring water on him a day prior (on Wednesday).
According to reports, Ibrahim approached Seberu on Thursday, asking her to pour the same kolanut water on him again.
Seberu reportedly declined, and begged him that the previous act was a mistake.
Her plea reportedly fell on deaf ears, as Ibrahim allegedly stabbed her.
An angry mob at the Idodere, Ogaminana, Adavi Local Government Area of the state was said to have pounced on the suspect, killing him in the process.
