Kenya’s former 400m hurdles runner, Nicholas Bett has died today in a car crash in Nandi.
Bett, 28, had just returned from the African Championship in Delta state, Nigeria.
Bett became a history holder in China, as he became the first Kenyan to win a world gold at a distance shorter than 800m.
He was also a two-time African bronze medallist. His twin brother Haron Koech is also a hurdler.
