Kano Court Bars Bayero From Renovating Nasarawa Mini Palace
A High Court sitting in Kano State has re-affirmed a September 13 interim order barring the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, from renovating the Nasarawa mini place pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice.
Kano state Chief Judge, Justice Dije Aboki, made this ruling on Thursday.
The Kano State Government and two other applicants had, earlier, approached the court, seeking an order to restrain the defendant from renovating the Palace.
On resumption of the case on Thursday, the Appliants informed the court that the defendant had not filed any processes nor represented.
In light of the resumption of vacation by Judges, Justice Aboki reassigned the case to Kano State High Court 15, presided by Justice Sanusi Ado Maaji.
The Chief Judge ordered that the defendant be served a hearing notice.
