Joseph Pessu – In Memory Of Those Killed Illegally By The Nigerian Police

Joseph Pessu was shot dead in Warri, Delta State, on Thursday April 2, 2020, by a soldier for allegedly flouting the state government’s COVID-19 curfew.

Although the Warri Area Commander of the Police, ACP Mohammed Garba, said the soldier who killed Pessu had been identified and gave an assurance that justice would be served, the case appears to have been buried and Pessu may never get justice.
