Inside Kogi horror house where kidnappers hide victims away
Kogi State government has reportedly ordered the demolition of a building belonging to a notorious kidnap kingpin.
The building was demolished on Wednesday afternoon.
Reports say the building, located in Oyunkoko Ward in Okene LGA of Central Senatorial District of the state, was being used in keeping kidnapped victims.
It was gathered that the suspects also received ransoms for their victims at the house.
The victims were reportedly led up the hill behind the house where they would be found after their ransoms were confirmed.
IEDs, guns and other ammunition were found in the house.
The owner of the house, Alhaji Tijanni Bakare, was said to have confessed to being the ring leader of a gang which terrorised citizens and strangers in the state.
Governor Bello warned citizens to be wary of harbouring criminals.
