INEC registers APDA, four other political parties

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday registered Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA) and four other new political parties.
The other parties are Young Progressive Party (YPP), New Generation Party of Nigeria (NGP), All Democratic Peoples Movement (ADPM) and Action Democratic Party (ADP).
The commission said the applications of 90 associations were rejected, explaining that only the five approved met the constitutional requirements for registration.
