INCREDIBLE: Indian farmer mounts ex-porn star’s raunchy poster to ward off “evil eye” from farm
An Indian farmer, Chenchu Reddy, is using a very unorthodox method of warding off neighbours and pilfering cabbage-thieves from feasting on crops on his farmland.
He has simply put a large poster of a former porn star, Sunny Leone, next to his farmland serving as a ‘scarecrow’.
The poster, mounted next to Chenchu’s 10-acres farmland in Andhra Pradesh, shows the ex-actress clad in a red bikini and smiling at the camera. It is a picture from Leone’s active days as a porn actress.
Chenchu says the poster will protect his farm, which had been attracting unwanted attention from other people in his village, from “the evil eye.”
He told Hindustan Times, “This year, I have a good crop on 10 acres.”
“This has been attracting unnecessary attention of villagers and passersby.
“To ward off their evil eye, I thought of this idea of putting up the big flax poster of Sunny Leone a couple of days ago.”
He said the trick has worked so far.
“The trick has worked. Nobody is looking at my crop now,” Chenchu said.
The ex-porn actress, real name Karenjit Kaur Vohra, has gone on to become a Bollywood actress.
