Ikorodu: Military reportedly planning airstrikes on militants hideouts to avenge police, soldier killings
Residents of Isawo and its environs have been warned of military crackdown on their community in the aftermath the invasion of the area by armed militants which led to the killing of an army captain and five policemen last week.
In a Whatsapp broadcast presently trending, people are warned to refrain from getting in the mixed as the military clear out the creeks along Isawo to Ikorodu and other adjoining neighborhood.
This is intended to dislodge militants and pipeline vandal.
According to the broadcast, it is classified information to inform residents to share with their family members living within Isawo and its vicinity to be conscious of their movement and surrounding.
In the next few days, military Jet Fighters will be making a air assault on Isawo creek in order to dislodge militants and pipeline vandals.
