Igando residents decry state of dilapidated link road

Residents of Isijola, Popoola Street and environs in Igando-Ikotun community, Lagos after a heavy downpour have complained of deplorable road and difficulty in accessing their homes.

”We are leaving not up to a kilometer to the LCDA secretariat within a major commerce center of the local government yet our roads are left in this terrible state.” a resident confirmed to journalists.

Another resident identified as Kunle who claims to be doing business within the axis lamented on how the LCDA is only interested in collecting revenue from business owners without considering the effect of the dilapidated road on their businesses.

He noted further that businesses within the street are practically paralyzed at any slightest of rain.

Hon.Wale promised that the LCDA would provide a palliative measure on the road as soon as possible.
