Ibadan “husband murder” case transferred to High court
Mrs Yewande Oyediran, the lawyer, who is accused of stabbing her husband to death appeared before the Iyaganku Magistrate Court in Ibadan, Oyo state on Tuesday.
The hearing which lasted for about 5 minutes, saw the police officer investigating the case, Amos Adewale, inform the court that it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case.

“We have been authoritatively informed that information has been filed before the court that has the jurisdiction to hear the case, which is the High Court. The matter is commencing tomorrow (Wednesday).”Kunle Adesiyan, counsel to the deceased’s family said.
A short argument also ensued in the court about why Yewande appeared wearing a veil over her face.
Yewande was taken back to Agodi prison after the hearing..
