Heartwarming moment Law graduate shares stage with 89-year-old great grandma

A South African Bachelor of Law graduate, Njabulo Ntombela, honoured his great grandmother at his graduation by making her share the stage with him.

Njabulo, heavily decked in his Zulu traditional ensemble as he graduated on Friday, led his 89-year-old great grandma, Nomkikilizo Ntombela to the podium in his graduating gown.

He said the gesture was to acknowledge her contribution towards his success in his academic sojourn.
