Former Bayelsa governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha is dead, but not everyone is buying the sh*t.

Yes, sh*t. That’s what some Nigerians are calling what they believe could be another “trick” from the “corrupt” former governor, now late.

Alamieyeseigha, 62, is reported to have died, Saturday, after his heart failed.

What?! Seeing is believing!

Some are saying if it’s true he died of heart failure, it could mean he was afraid of being extradited to the UK again. That’s callous!

There were indications late Alamieyeseigha could be extradited to the UK to help Nigeria recover some of her stolen oil funds.

In December 2005, Alamieyeseigha reportedly jumped bail in the UK by allegedly disguising himself as a woman. He denied this claim.
In December 2005, Alamieyeseigha reportedly jumped bail in the UK by allegedly disguising himself as a woman. He denied this claim.

But late Alamieyeseigha’s fans say Nigerians are heartless to be thinking of a dead man this way.

But these Nigerians say Alamieyeseigha was heartless when he stole their money and allowed innocent lives to die with the resultant bad roads.

They say Alamieyeseigha was heartless when he disguised as a woman to escape British corruption investigators thereby bringing Nigeria an epic national disgrace.

As a matter of fact, Alamieyeseigha denied this “fake woman” allegation.

Haba! What is wrong with these people?

Those who are “buying” the story of Alamieyeseigha’s unfortunate passing they do not feel sorry for the old man.

“If the dead had no respect for the living while he was alive, how can you now ask the living to respect the dead?” blogger Funke Philips asked in a Facebook post on Sunday.

“Alams is dead. The only honest emotions I can summon are indifference…and mild annoyance that he died without answering for his crimes.”

Some are alleging there could be a conspiracy by loyalists of former President Goodluck Jonathan to fake their deaths in order to escape corruption probes.

Oh, really?!
