November 9, 2017
Hundreds of commercial motorcycle riders, otherwise called ‘okadamen’ have barricaded the Iyana-Iba road leading from Lagos State University (LASU) main gate to protest against the alleged seizure of their motorcycles.
The riders made several bonfires along the expressway.
The protesters are lamenting harassment they suffer at the hands of men of the state task force.
Human and vehicular movements have been disrupted, while motorists are making a u-turn. Police and security officers have not been seen at the spot as at press time.
