Former Boko Haram abductee Amina Ali Nkeki has told her mates still being held by the terrorists to never give up.

Amina Ali offered the words of hope in an interview with CNN. It was her first media interview since she regained freedom in May.

She’s is one of the over 200 girls Boko Haram abducted in April 2014. She’s the only one to have regained freedom after escaping the terrorist camp with her “husband”.

“Be patient and prayerful, the way God rescued me from Sambisa Forest, he will rescue you too,” Amina told said of her Chibok “sisters”.

Amina’s words came days after Boko Haram released a video which, among other things, showed supposed dead bodies of young women some of whom are said to be Chibok girls. Boko Haram claimed the girls were killed by Nigerian military airstrikes.

Amina, in her, opinion said the video which showed a Chibok girl reciting a scripted plea for the release of Boko Haram fighters in exchange for the kidnapped girls, is not new since some captives died in a bombing more than a year ago.

A defence chief recently said the military would have released Boko Haram members to free Chibok girls but the decision would be a “political” one.

How will Amina’s message reach the remaining Chibok girls?.
