Germany again! Woman killed, two others injured in machete attack near Stuttgart
Just about 48 hours after a shooting rampage in Munich left at least nine persons dead, one woman and two other people have been killed in a machete attack in south-western Germany.
The attack, witnesses said, followed an argument between the attacker, identified as a Syrian asylum-seeker, and his dead victim in Reutlingen, near Stuttgart.
Police sources said the attacker had been arrested but the incident is not being treated as a terrorist attack.
The woman who was killed worked at a kebab stand close to where the argument took place, the Bild newspaper has reported.
Police added that the man arrested had been involved in previous incidents where he had caused injury, but gave no further details.
On Monday, an Afghan teenager armed with an axe and a knife injured four people on a train in Wurzburg and another person as he fled the scene before he was shot dead by police..
