Gaza war crime: US lawmakers wade in, ask Biden to cease weapon aid to Israel
The ongoing assault on Gaza by Israeli forces has resulted in twenty US lawmakers calling on Biden to halt transfer of offensive weapons to Israel.
It was revealed that the Israeli government has continuously denied US demands to allow Gaza get more aid.
This detailed information was contained in a letter addressed to the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken on Tuesday.
As addressed in the letter, it stated, “We believe continuing to transfer offensive weapons to the Israeli government prolongs the suffering of the Palestinian people and risks our own national security by sending a message to the world that the US will apply its laws, policies, and international law selectively”.
