FUNAAB students blast “lying” police, “useless” Nigerian media
Students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are not happy with the Nigerian media.

A police officer reportedly shot one of them, Abisoye Taiwo, in the head during a protest on Thursday. The police say they didn’t fire any weapon. They said Taiwo, who is still in hospital, was injured by a stone thrown by one of his own colleagues.

A student shared this image. We don’t know if the bullet was “photoshopped” into the photo.

But we spoke with a student who told us Taiwo was shot. “It wasn’t an accident, I saw the police shoot him in the head” the source said.
Students are angry…they say the media is lying…
A church wasn't even burnt not to talk of "Churches", neither were buildings burnt. Media Houses should stop all these lies #SaveFunaab

Where was Channels? If they keep spreading false information, then they are as guilty as the police. I rest my case. #savefunaab
