Full List: Chelsea Removes Cole Palmer From Conference League Squad
English club, Chelsea FC, has excluded their star man, Cole Palmer from the squad submitted for the next phase of the 2024/25 UEFA Conference League.
The news of the omission was announced on Thursday evening when the club released the squad list.
The list which was released on the club’s official website also shows other noteable abscentees like defender, Wesley Fofana and midfielder, Romeo Lavia.
The club has however pointed out that the omission was necessary in order to manage the workload of the players amidst the hectic schedule ahead.
The club will also be taking part in the Club World Cup later this year.
Chelsea will also look to avoid injuries this season, with Fofana and Lavia among those only recently returning from long term layoffs.
New signings, Jadon Sancho, Joao Felix and Pedro Neto, however, take their place in the squad.

Goalkeepers: Robert Sanchez; Filip Jorgensen and; Lucas Bergstrom.
Defenders: Axel Disasi; Marc Cucurella; Tosin Adarabioyo; Reece James; Malo Gusto; Renato Veiga.
Midfielders: Enzo Fernandez; Carney Chukwuemeka; Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall; Moises Caicedo and; Cesare Casadei.
Foorwards: Noni Madueke; Mykhailo Mudryk; Joao Felix; Christopher Nkunku; Jadon Sancho; Marc Guiu and; Nicolas Jackson.
