FRSC returns N27m found on accident victims in Ogun
The FRSC said it recovered a €65,780 (about N27 million) sum from the scene of the accident that left eight persons dead along the Lagos – Ibadan expressway on Tuesday.
The victims were said to be returnees from Spain who were headed for Benin to attend an engagement.
Their bus collided with a truck as a result of the alleged recklessness of the driver.
Seven of the passengers died on the spot, while the eight person died at the hospital.
The FRSC Commander in Ogun, Clement Oladele, today, handed over €65,780 and other monies recovered from the fatal crash to the surviving victim.
