Five die in Jigawa accident
At least five persons have died in an accident involving three cars along Birninkudu-Kano road in Birninkudu Local Government Area of Jigawa.
NAN reports that the accident happened on Sunday at about 7pm in Kwanar Gangare Area.
SP Abdu Jinjiri, the Jigawa Police Command spokesman, confirmed the incident.
He said that the accident involved an articulated vehicle and three other cars.
Jinjiri revealed that the bodies of the deceased had been taken to the morgue to be buried and their families are being contacted.
