Fire destroys INEC materials in Anambra
A container conveying INEC materials for the upcoming presidential election on Saturday has been ravaged by fire in Anambra.
The incident which occurred Tuesday afternoon is the third case of fire destroying INEC consignment in less than two weeks.
Plateau and Abia states experienced similar occurrence recently and the cause of the fire is still not fully ascertained.
Many people have started raising questions on how nonchalant INEC is handling sensitive election materials.
It is not yet clear if the destroyed materials would be replaced in time for the election, which is just few days away.
