FG declares April 14, 17 Easter public holidays

The Federal Government has declared Monday and Friday (April 14 & 17) as public holidays to mark Easter celebrations.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement on behalf of FG on Wednesday that the celebration should be used by Nigerians to extend love, peace, justice, sacrifice and kindness to one another.
FG says it will, however, deploy personnel, sniffer dogs, specialised units such as CBRN, Special Force, Counter Terrorism, Ambulances, Surveillance team in strategic areas to forestall any intended attacks by “enemies of the nation.”
