Femi Otedola reportedly accepts to contest for Lagos State governorship under the PDP
Nigerian Billionaire and Chairman of Forte Oil Plc, Mr Femi Otedola has today 11 September 2018, reportedly accepted the offer of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos to contest the Governorship sit of Lagos as its sole candidate.
According to the Publisher of Ovation magazine, Dele Momodu, who broke the news, Otedola will contest against the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the general elections in 2019.
Momodu in his statement said, “Breaking news: Lagos 2019 promises to be interesting. PDP offers Femi Otedola governorship ticket. He’s accepted and personally confirmed to The Boss newspaper.”
This information came just a day after Governor Ambode declared his intention to run for a second term as the Governor of Lagos state.
