Female army officer reportedly beats policewoman into coma in Lagos
A female police officer has reportedly landed at a hospital after a female officer of the Nigerian Army allegedly beat her to coma.
The incident reportedly happened opposite NAFDAC office at the Oshodi area of Lagos on Tuesday.
The two women were said to have engaged in a fight after an argument.
Eyewitnesses say the cause of the argument between both officers, who were on uniform, was unknown.
A witness reportedly said the unnamed policewoman, who is attached to Makinde Police Division in Oshodi, was carrying out her duty as a traffic warden in the area when the incident occurred.
“The case of assault has been reported to Police Command Headquarters for further investigation,” Vanguard quotes the witness as saying.
