Who talks about marriage without sex? No one? But this Chinese couple have had five years of it.
It’s not that they don’t want to, they just can’t indulge in couples’ ultimate bonding activity in their current physical state.
Put together, Lin Yue and Deng Yang weigh nearly 400kgs.
The plus-size lovebirds, both 30-year-olds, have been married since 2010, but haven’t been able to have sex because of their weight, New York Post reports.
But the couple have decided to have a gastric bypass surgery after China’s heaviest woman, nicknamed Qian Qian, announced she was going to go through the same procedure.
The couple see the bypass surgery as their only chance to realise their dreams of “sexhood” and parenthood.
They’ve already started the fitness plan needed before the surgery.
