#EndSARS: music star Praiz released from police custody after hours in illegal detention

Hours after he was illegally detained at a police station in Lagos, R&B singer Praiz, has been released.

NET had earlier reported that he was arrested in Lekki after being stopped on the road. He was then dragged to Ajah Police Station for unnamed ‘offences’.

It has not been confirmed to us that the artiste has been released and has departed the police station.

The arrest comes after a series of agitation by Nigerians about the highhandedness of police officers in the country.
