EKEDC promises customers who don’t owe free prepaid meters
Mr Godwin Idemudia, the General Manager and Corporate Communications, Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), on Wednesday, said his team will distribute 100 free prepaid meters to its customers during their “Customers’ Service Week”.
The Manager, according to NAN, said there will be a raffle draw among customers who had been paying their bills till date without any debt. He said the draw will be among 10 lucky winners of each district.
He said, “Please note that meters will be issued to the 10 lucky customers per district. These customers must be regular in paying with zero outstanding.
“The customers who will be entitled to the free meter must have no record of energy theft and had no record of hostility towards our staff.”
He also said the EKDC Customers service week will enable customers to be able to table their complaints during the programme.
Idemudia further added that 500 people within the district will be fed during the service week and calls will be made to customers to appreciate and advice them on how to lay complaints on social media.
