‘EFCC, I’m here’ – Fayose arrives anti-graft commission’s HQ in cheeky shirt as immunity expires
Ayodele Fayose has arrived the EFCC headquarters in Abuja after his immunity as governor ended today.
Fayose is being investigated for allegedly receiving about N1.3 billion from the Office of the National Security Adviser through former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
The former governor was seen wearing a shirt with the inscription: “EFCC, I’m here” and also carrying a bag Tuesday afternoon.
It is not clear if Fayose would be detained by the EFCC, but he had earlier said he was going there with his bedclothes.
Kayode Fayemi officially took over from Fayose as Ekiti State governor today.
