Edo: Brothers to appear in court for ritual killing of their grandmother
Two men identified as Dickson Oluka, and Salaya Oluka, have been arrested while attempting to dispose of the body of their grandmother, Grace Ovbiedo who they allegedly killed in a bid to use her for money rituals.
The arrested suspects reportedly connive with Martins Oluka and Austin Enayi, who are currently at large, to attack the woman at her home at No. 28 Asowata Street, Ohovbe quarters, Ikpoba-Okha local government area of Edo state.
As allegedly instructed by a native doctor, the suspects tied a live tortoise to their back and smashed their grandmother’s head against a wall.
According to a family source, the suspects have gone to meet the native doctor in a bid to be rich. The family source revealed that it was the native doctor who gave them the method of becoming rich.
Edo Police spokesman, DSP Chidi Nwanbuzor, who confirmed the incident, said a manhunt has been launched for the other two suspects.
