Ebola filmmaker to address Adadevoh family after meeting with lawyers

Following the official statement by the Adadevoh/Cardoso families distancing themselves from Nollywood movie, 93 Days, NewsroomNG affiliate TNS reached out to the director of the movie, Steve Gukas.
Gukas whose “A Place in the Stars” was successful and got several award nominations; has found himself, alongside the production team, in a terrible mess following the statement by the families of late Nigerian Ebola hero, Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh.

In the statement, the Adadevohs threatened legal action if there were any discrepancy in the depiction of the life of Ameyo Stella Adadevoh.
After several hours of our attempts to reach Gukas, he eventually responded via a phone call that “our (93 Days production team) partners are currently meeting with our lawyers and our publicity team.“
He added, “We should be issuing an official statement soon.“
93 Days is produced by Native Filmworks, Michelangelo Productions and Bolanle Austen-Peters Productions. It stars Hollywood star Danny Glover, Bimbo Akintola, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey, Gideon Okeke and more..
