Woman kidnapped on way to see dad in Abuja
A Nigerian woman in her mid twenties has been kidnapped in Abuja.
Jessica Edionwele, 24, was abducted after leaving Lagos to see her father in Abuja, a friend of hers said in an Instagram post on Saturday.
There are indications she arrived Abuja but never met her dad. She is believed to have been abducted somewhere along the line.
“My best friend was abducted on the 7th October 2015 in Abuja,” Jessica’s friend wrote on Instagram, Saturday.
“She left Lagos at 4.00 p.m. to meet her dad in Abuja. They were at the airport to pick her up, but they never saw her.
“The airline confirmed she left Lagos at 4.00 p.m. and arrived in Abuja airport at 5.15pm.”
Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy reposted the call for help on his Instagram account.
Abuja police say they are on the case.
