"Deal with it!" Angry Lagos blasts Ambode over traffic headache
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is the talk of Twitter in Lagos, Monday morning.
He seems to be trending for the wrong reasons.
Lagos residents took to the microblogging site to criticise the “failure” of Ambode at governance…whatever that means.
It seems the several tanker and container truck accidents that have happened in Lagos since Ambode assumed office in May may be responsible for the public angst against him.
People think the decision of Ambode, to arrest the horrific Lagos traffic situation, banning some vehicles from plying the road in daytime is not working.
Also, the traffic gridlock that grounded Lagos to a halt on Monday may have a part to play in the public criticism directed towards the Lagos governor.
Many say the governor has done nothing in Lagos State since being sworn in on May 29.
Still many others insist it is too early to judge Ambode who assumed office a little over 100 days ago.
