Danger! 661 pump-action rifles intercepted by Nigeria Customs Service in Lagos

A truck loaded with no fewer than 49 boxes of pump-action rifles was, on Monday, intercepted by the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Customs Service.
The NCS said it intercepted the truck along the Mile 2 Apapa Road.
Reports say the manifest that followed the truck suggested that it was only transporting still doors, until the customs officials discovered otherwise upon conducting a search.
A total of 661 pump-action rifles were reportedly discovered in the seized boxes.
Col. Hameed Ali, the Comptroller-General of the NCS, said some suspects have been arrested in connection to the and investigations were ongoing.
