Court slams alleged rapist with N5m bail for molesting secondary school girl
The FCT High Court in Apo, Abuja on Tuesday granted N5 million bail to an alleged rapist, Jacob Shiloba.
Shiloba, 27, allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old student of Government Girls Secondary School, Kuje.
The resident of Sauka, Airport Road, Opposite Immigration Office, Abuja, was granted bail by the vacation judge, Justice Silvanus Oriji, after he pleaded not guilty to a count charge of rape.
The Prosecutor, Mr Aonduna Orti, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on April 24.
“The defendant intentionally penetrated into the private part of the girl without her consent,” he said.
