Confirmed 2019 Election Result: Buhari defeats Atiku in Gombe
President Muhammadu Buhari has added another state to his name after defeating Atiku Abubakar in Gombe.
Buhari polled a total of 402,961 votes while Atiku polled a total of 138,484 votes.
Total number of registered voters in the state is 1,385,191 while 604,240 voters were accredited.
The total number of votes cast is 580,649 while 554,203 votes were declared valid.
Rejected votes totalled 26,446.
The President has now won six out of seven states that have been officially announced so far.
The collation of election results is currently ongoing in Abuja. This is the sixth out of 36states to have been officially announced.
