Confirmed 2019 Election Result: Buhari defeats Atiku in Ekiti

INEC has officially confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari polled more votes than Atiku Abubakar, his fiercest opposition, in Ekiti State during Saturday’s poll.

Buhari polled 219,231 votes while Atiku polled 154,032. Over 12,000 votes were pronounced invalid in the state.

A total of 909,967 people registered in Ekiti, while only 666,591 PVCs were collected.

Turnout of voters in the state was relatively low.
